Etymology: Eretiǹgrai A, from the same letter in Mižinai.

The 24th letter of the T́uliǹgrai alphabet is a vowel. Like all vowels, it's short, and has two aspects, called "broad" and "narrow".

The broad aspect of this vowel is pronounced like the short A in Latin or the A in Spanish, and its name is a (informal) and earetai (formal).

The narrow aspect is pronounced like the A in English words like cat, fat, hat, or slap. Its name is â or a kapeol (informal), or eâretai or earetai kapeol (formal).
