Etymology: Eretiǹgrai NN, NH; and HNN, HNH;, from the same letters in Mižinai.
The 15th letter of the
T́uliǹgrai alphabet has two aspects, voiced and
voiceless.
The voiced aspect of this consonant is pronounced like the N in English, except that it's dental instead of
alveolar. Its name is
ńe (informal) or
eńeretai (formal).
The voiceless aspect is named
*ńi (informal) or
e*ńiretai (formal).
